Hunter wellies !!!

Hello my lovely (Christmas) puddings πŸ˜‰

I went shopping today with my friend, Holly. We had a fabulous time, and it was a very successful trip indeed. I went with my main goal, of finding some Hunter wellies to try on, to see if they would fit my calves *eye roll*

I first looked at the lovely wellies on their website, and with soooo many colours it was hard to choose, I eventually made up my mind and fell in love these (photo from Hunter UK website).

Image

These were described as the colour violet. Aren’t they lush?? I then decided that it would be a good idea to go for them in the original tall boot with adjustable fitting, I took measurements of my calves and compared it to Hunter’s size guide, and was fairly confident that they would fit… still, for the price I REALLY wanted to try some on, just to be sure.

So, on our shopping trip, I came across a little shop called “Toad footwear” who stock a wide range of ‘outdoorsy shoes’ and they had Hunters in! Woo hoo. After I calmed down, I was now Β eager to make sure they would fit right… and they did !!! so wham bam, thank you mam. (well, dad. My christmas prezzie from him) so he payed over the phone, and here we are… πŸ˜‰

Image

I even love the box, it’s just simple, elegant and sophisticated.

Image

Glossy goodness. So again, these are the original Hunter tall boots, in Violet gloss. With the adjustable gusset/fitting. *droooool* I LOVE them, but now have to pack them away until Christmas day.

I shall do a little haul post soon of what I bought myself, and I will be going with Holly to Derby Westfield soon to do some MAJOR clothes shopping, so stay tuned for that (later this month)

Ta ta for now folks!

Little charity shop haul.

Hey my little puddings!

As you know, I went to do some charity shopping/thrifting on the 6th of April. Well, I went to every charity shop in my town, and even managed to get locked in the ‘save the children’ along with loads of other shoppers. Which was hilarious. Turned out the door and lock had broken so we couldn’t open the door, so instead we had to leave via the back door. What an eventful day. πŸ˜›

I had high hopes that I was going to find a cute satchel hidden in the corner of a shop, but alas i didn’t find any, which is unusual as our british red cross, ALWAYS has satchels! They did have a black leather, with gold spikes satchel type bag, but as soon as I walked over to it, a young lady had already snapped it up. Grrrr… hahaha. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.

I did come back with something though. I went in to help to Age UK which is across the road from the british red cross, and after searching the rails, i ended up at the jewellery ‘wall’. Like I need anymore?! I swear I’m like a magpie.

Well, I got these two cute and unusual necklaces… πŸ™‚

Image
Sorry for the rubbish lighting, the sun is out right now, and I was trying to stop it from washing out my photos…
Image
This necklace is a gold coloured spiked collar style. And a very statement piece, perfect to go with a plain white top, or with a shirt. It reminds me of a necklace i think sold by either Topshop or Zara… (I think, don’t quote me on that) that sold something very similar. This little beauty was only Β£2.99 so i’m very happy, as i would of spent much much more on the Topshop/Zara one.
The next necklace I got was again, from Age UK. And much more dainty.
Image
Image
Isn’t it cute? A small thin ‘gold’ chain, with this unusual pendent at the bottom. I really like the shape of the pendent, and how the stones are set around it. And it is just so dainty, elegant and sparkly that it made me think of summer. I don’t know why, it just did. This lovely little thing was only 99p, so I snapped it up quick! πŸ˜€
Image
And that’s all folks! Not even sure i’d call this a haul, more of a charity shop findings… nevermind. Its better than finding nothing at all. πŸ˜‰

New buys!

Hey puddings,

I’ve been indulging in some retail therpay. Only a little…and on eBay! Yes, as you know I’m always on the hunt for bargains. Wether it’s in Charity shops, car boots and on eBay.

I think I did quite well, and this is what I managed to snag. πŸ˜‰

Firstly, I got these cute, patent neon yellow/lime green flats (originally from new look) I’m getting in to the neon trend, and these will be perfect for adding a pop of colour to an outfit for spring/summer. And the best part? They were only 99p! πŸ˜‰

Image

Another ‘trend’ that I’m loving is the high low/dip hem skirt. I think they look so feminine and a great option for those who may be a bit conscious of their legs, as the skirt offers coverage at the back. They also look so dramatic when blowing in the wind ~ ahhhh ❀

Image

This is the skirt I managed to again, snag off eBay. It is originally from ‘simply be’. The skirt is a lightweight chiffon material, is stops just above the knee at the front, and the hem at the back goes down to mid calf. I won this beauty for only Β£2.21! I know for a fact this skirt would of been at least Β£20 brand new from simply be, as I’ve seen similar skirts for around that price. πŸ˜›

I’m sorry the photo isn’t flattering for the skirt at all, as its not even on a proper skirt hanger, I’ll have to model it for you guys!

Image

The last item I won on eBay was a lovely top. Again, in keeping with the neon trend. (The following photo was taken from the ebay listing, as I havnt received it yet, the photo belongs to it’s rightful owner) it’s a loose fit, top. Perfect for spring/summer. The top is a beige with a lime green/yellow strip along the top half, and also has a zip detail at the back.

Β

This top was only Β£1.99 and originally from Marks and spencer. Think this is the first thing I’ve ever seen from M&S and actually liked. haha, usually their clothes are much more made for the ‘mature’ lady, or older women. heehee.
It just goes to show how you can get clothes for so little compared to their RRP prices, and you never know what little gems you may come across. πŸ˜‰

Do you ever shop on eBay for clothes? whats the best thing and price you have got on something, share below in the comments. πŸ˜€

snake effect leggings

Just thought I’d show you my leggings. These are super comfy despite being made of lycra! πŸ˜‰ They are a snake skin effect, in black. They also have subtle shimmer and glitter mixed in with the material, which is best seen under sunlight. I paired them with my Jeffrey Campbell litas. Which some of you may have seen in an older post. They are the “Exotic” lita, in tan sheepskin.

Yes, I braved the snow for this photo whilst wearing them. The photo was taken in my garden.(Derbyshire, UK) The snow is soooo deep its crazy. Who knew we’d be on the way to spring?

You can also see a glimpse of my nails today. I did a nude nail, using stargazer nail varnish which I got at new look years ago! I then used barry M ‘gold topaz’ glitter over the top on just one nail, as an accent. πŸ™‚

New blouse came!

Hey my little puddings!

My blouse that I featured in a previous post, has arrived! Sorry for the unimaginative and rather rubbish photos, I lent my tripod to someone, so had to use photobooth on my Macbook Pro to take photos…blarghhh. Anyways, you get the idea πŸ˜‰

Image

I have no idea why I didn’t change my top for these photos, haha… too many pattens!

Image

I just love this print, not sure what you would call it? It’s a mixture of leopard print, and gold flowers/damask like print layered over it. Reminds me of a printed scarf.

Image

The fabric is a light, chiffon, the sleeves and the back of the blouse are see through. This will be perfect for when it gets warmer and in to spring/summer, to throw over something when it’s too warm to wear a cardigan. It’s totally bold and interesting to look at, really chuffed that I won this on eBay, and only for Β£2! Bargain of the year I think.

Buy of the day.

I just won this on eBay! So, it might not be to everyones taste, it’s a loud printed chiffon blouse. I really liked the layered pattern of black, gold flowers? and the leopard print. As well as the material and the contrasting white sleeves. πŸ™‚

Image

And for just over Β£2 well, bargain! The brand is papaya. I thought of wearing this blouse with my leather panel leggings, and a plain top underneath. I also think it could work dressed up, perhaps with my mock suspender tights, and a playsuit, with this thrown over the top? πŸ™‚

I’ll have to model it, and take my own photos of it when it arrives! So, stay tuned…

My new love (lots of photos!)

I took some photos of my recent purchase, and my first ever pair of Jeffrey Campbells. These are the exotic lita, in ‘tan sheepskin’. I’m just in LOVE with them.

Image

They have a variety of brown/black/tan shades over them, which makes them very versatile and easy to pair with most outfits. They are sooooooo soft to the touch. πŸ™‚

The gorgeous, thick, solid wooden 5 inch heel. A statement on the Lita.

^^^^^^ Here, you can see the different colours/shades I was on about. ❀
