EOTD/FOTD “Desert eyes”

Hey puddings,

Time for my eye of the day/face of the day! So, lets get right to it. I call this eye look “Desert eyes” because I was inspired by the colours you may find in a desert, golds, warm browns as well as hints of green. Enjoy! 😀

I’m always trying to make statement, so I feel very comfortable wearing this eye makeup as a day time look, I do think you could also wear this as a night time look as well…

So, voila! There you go my lovlies. I’m also wearing the Gosh foundation that I featured in a past haul…see, it’s so pale/light! Perfect.

I also applied a hint of blusher, MUA ”Primrose” from their Artiste palette. The lipstick I’m wearing is a very soft shimmery pink, which is from Avon cosmetics, in the colour “Pink pop”.

The eye shadows themselves, are a combination of colours I mixed up myself from various palettes I have. Just comment if you want to know what I used for a specific colour. 🙂

I’m also being a featured ‘blogger of the week’ starting next week, for a fashion trends site I follow… I’m actually about to go and take some outfit photos for that, so I best get going! How exciting. 😀 Stay tuned for a post about that as well.

Makeup inspiration

Here you will find a collection of various photos of makeup looks, that I use as inspiration for my own makeup, a sort of ‘mood board’ if you will. Enjoy! 😛

Lady gaga inspired eyeliner

Hey my lil’ puddings,

I wanted to try out some bold and unusual eye looks, using liquid eyeliner. My inspiration came after seeing this photo, on we heart it, and it was also shared by Barry M on their Facebook page.

I also think these are quite Lady gaga-esque. 🙂 *paws up*

I’m not totally sure these would work for day time, however night time looks and halloween or fancy dress would be perfect to wear this eye look. These were so much fun to do, even just using simple liquid eyeliner, I’m going to try them out again, but incorporate eyeshadow, and see how it turn out. 🙂

EOTD ‘dusty pink’

It’s that time again, EOTD time 😉

This is a dusty, slightly smokey pink eye. I also added a little bit of glitter to give it a lil something.

This eye makeup could work for both day time and night time. You could, as I would do (for a more night eye look)…make the smokey parts more intense and dramatic against the light pink, and of course, add more glitter! 😉

Who said a leopard can’t change it’s spots? – Creative eyes.

I wanted to try do a theatrical/bold leopard eye makeup idea. I didn’t want that inner black liner so thick, but I couldn’t find my other liquid liner, that has a fine point. Oh well. Enjoy! Will list what I used at the end. 🙂
