I did a post yesterday about my new Barry M lip paint ‘162’ ‘Cranberry red’. Here I am wearing the lip paint, it’s a gorgeous ever so slightly vampy red. (A tad darker in real life) Bang on trend for winter this year! But then, red lips will never go out of style. 😉 just love them!
I’m totally in love with it, it’s moisturising because of the cocoa butter in it, doesn’t dry the lips out, and lasts! It’s also fruity scented! Mmmm.
Will you be trying out the vampy lip look this winter?
Okay okay, so this isn’t a new buy, but I just love lipsticks and pink & red are my weaknesses…
This is the Barry M ‘100’ Baby pink. It’s a very light, cotton candy pink, and also has a generous amount of white pigment, which can make it difficult to wear, depending on your skin tone…I’d say it would work better for those with a paler complexion. (but, if you love it, then go for it!!!!) The texture of the lip paint is a satin with VERY little sheen to it, and fairly opaque, so I’d recommend applying lip balm first, and also to make sure your lips are in perfect condition before hand, as this lip paint has a tendency to highlight flaws in your lips.
Below are some swatches…
Barry M – ‘100’ Baby pink.
As you can see, I’ve used this quite a lot…I just love the lightness of it. 😀 (looks so much darker in the bullet).
Here shows just how light this lip paint is. When on the lips it’s a little more pale, (on me anyway)
Stay beautiful xoxoxoxo
Whilst on a shopping trip today, I popped in to Super drug, and decided to buy a new lipstick. Looked at the new Barry M, moisturising lip paints. These are great as they have Cocoa butter in them, so keep your lips hydrated and soft. Which is brilliant now we are getting in to winter! 😉
I bought their ‘162’ cranberry red. It’s a gorgeous blue based red, so don’t be fooled by it, as it looks a brown/red in the bullet. 😉 (Below are some swatches…)
The packaging is pretty too! An in your face, vibrant fuchsia pink! 🙂
162 – ‘cranberry red’.
It has a high sheen to it when first applied, however after a while on your lips it gradually turns more matte. Because of the cocoa butter, I found it didn’t dry out my lips as much as their regular lip paints. *thumbs up*
This shade is perfect for those wanting to try out the vampy red lipstick trend, without going for a dark purple or wine red. I think it’s a lovely shade, and totally bang on for winter!
Stay beautiful. xoxoxoxo
